Public Interest Environmental Law Conference: March 3-6

Posted in Uncategorized

Beginning tomorrow, the Public Interest Environmental Law Conference (PIELC) is excited to announce this year’s 40th annual event. This year’s PIELC will be held remotely (barring one outdoor Nature Walk held for attendees here in Eugene) from March 3-6, 2022. The full schedule is posted in the link below!
Starting with just fifteen speakers and seventy-five participants in 1983, PIELC has grown to become the world’s largest environmental law conference. Every year, more than 3,000 activists, attorneys, students, scientists, policy makers, and concerned citizens come from around the world to collaborate on a variety of environmental issues. Past topics include ecological restoration, mining reform, labor and human rights, international environmental law, dam removal, global warming, Native American treaty rights, and corporate responsibility.
The conference will be an event full of energy, innovation, and inspiration for all involved in the environmental movement. They will be offering several opportunities for CLE credit, as well as hosting some incredible keynote speakers!
