“New Challenges in Environmental Philosophy: Contesting Boundaries”

The Philosophy Department winter colloquium series will kick off next Thursday January 16th, at 2pm in Willamette Hall 110. This year, the colloquium committee is organizing, along with more traditional talks, five panel discussions to highlight important philosophical work going on in the department. Each panel features a current faculty member, a former PhD student, and a current PhD student.

The inaugural panel, organized and moderated by Barbara Muraca, is titled: “New Challenges in Environmental Philosophy: Contesting Boundaries” and features:

David Baumeister, Faculty, Seton Hill University
Rebekah Sinclair, PhD student, University of Oregon
