Starting this Wednesday, from the 23-27 marks this year’s American Society for Environmental History annual conference. The Graduate hotel will host the events here in Eugene. Each year, ASEH members and friends gather to share the latest work in environmental history. The annual conference features more than 100 panels and sessions, receptions and events, interest group breakfasts and meetings, and several field trips exploring the history and environment of the city.
Environmental Historians seek to understand the complex entanglements of humans and the rest of nature over time. By fostering such inquiry, the American Society for Environmental History, aims to broaden debate about the desirability, possibilities, and prospects of enhancing sustainability and reducing environmental and social injustice.
Registration for the event is still available for a single-day or for the full event! https://aseh.org/event-3878299
The event is sponsored by the University of Oregon and The Center for Environmental Futures.
