Roy Scranton – “Climate Change and the Virtues of Pessimism”

CEF and the Department of English at the University of Oregon would like to invite you to, “Climate Change and the Virtues of Pessimism”, hosted by Roy Scranton.

Roy Scranton is an associate professor at Notre Dame and director of the universities’ Environmental Humanities Initiative. He is the author of five books. including Learning to Die in the Anthropocene: Reflections on the End of a Civilization, the monograph Total Mobilization: World War II and American Literature, and the novel War Porn.

The event will take place November 16th at 3pm in the Erb memorial Union room 146– Crater Lake North Room.
