Dr. M. Jackson Speaks on the Challenges of Science Communication

Please join us on Zoom next Friday, April 24th at 10:30am for our virtual CEF/Interdisciplinarity 101 Workshop. Center for Environmental Futures Postdoctoral Fellow, M. Jackson, will be giving her talk, titled: “Science-Telling: The Challenges of Communicating Accurate Science Across Diverse Platforms.”

Dr. M. Jackson is a renowned geographer, glaciologist, TED Fellow, and National Geographic Society explorer with research interests in climate change, glaciology, human geography, the Arctic and Iceland. Her most recent book, The Secret Lives of Glaciers (2019), explores the impacts of glacier change on the human and physical geography of Iceland. Read more about her and her work here.
